Made in Germany, the PISCINE ALARM® is TOTALLY INSENSITIVE TO THE STONGEST WINDS !!

The PISCINE ALARM® pool immersion detector is the French version of the POOLSOLARM® invented 20 years ago by Klaus-Peter KOLBATZ.

This detector, which conforms entirely to French NFP90-307/A1 standards, has an immense advantage over other alarms : it is COMPLETELY INSENSITIVE TO THE STRONGEST WINDS.

According to French standards, pool alarms are not required to withstand wind speeds higher than 34km/h, which is not more than a gentle breeze.

Alarms sensitive to waves in the pool generally withstand little more than these 34km/h winds, although the Poolalarm shows slightly better results.

So as soon as winds speeds reach 40 or 45km/h, no alarm can stay operational without constantly setting off. This means these alarms cannot be left alone to do their job !!

How it works :

PISCINE ALARM® is sensitive to the waves created by an intrusion in the pool, underneath the surface of the water.
The time delay before setting off is very short (around 1.5 m.s).
The sensitivity level is very high (intrusions of 1.5kg and higher).
The area of sensitivity reaches over 20m, and may be adjusted to reach even further.
The PISCINE ALARM® detector may be coupled to an interior radio-controlled remote receiver (up to 200m away).
The PISCINE ALARM® detector may be coupled to an automatic survival unit, the POOL AIRBAG®.
The PISCINE ALARM® detector may be coupled to the house burglar alarm.

The PISCINE ALARM® functions on two 9-volt rechargeable batteries and is shipped with a charger that is plugged directly into the alarm.

The product is guaranteed 3 year for parts and service. Guarantees and after-sales service are provided by the exclusive French importer, Energie Engineering.

STANDARDS

The PISCINE ALARM® detector has been certified to be in compliance with current European standards and the CE1999/5 directive on R&TT.

It has also been tested by the IFA INSTITUT in Berlin, (Study N° 76), and complies with all French pool security NFP90-307 standards as well as its NFP90-307/A1 ammendment. These compliances are prescribed in the Code de la Construcion et de l'Habitat, and in the 2004-499 decree of the 7th June 2004.
